Laïla Kothenburger

Qualified osteopath, member of the FSO, ASCA and RME accredited

Convinced that quality care depends above all on listening and a holistic approach, she cares for patients of all ages — from newborns to seniors, including athletes — at every stage of their lives.

Her background

After graduating from the Swiss School of Osteopathy in 2012, she began her career as an assistant to Philippe Lamy in Geneva, then at an osteopathic walk-in practice in Lausanne. During these years as an assistant, she completed many continuing education courses — visceral, structural, tissue, functional and paediatric techniques — to broaden and refine her practice.

In 2015, she spent several months travelling around the world, during which she carried out a humanitarian mission in a village in the Peruvian Andes, treating women and newborns at the maternity unit and children at the school. This experience strengthened her conviction that every patient deserves care adapted to their situation.

Holder of the CDS diploma since 2017, she worked as a locum in several practices before setting up her own practice in July 2018.

Her approach

She combines the different techniques acquired throughout her studies and training to offer tailored treatment adapted to each person’s needs.

Specialised in pelvic-perineal care and women’s health, she supports women throughout their lives and the physical and hormonal changes along the way: adolescence, fertility, pregnancy and postpartum, menopause, and adapting sports practice to the menstrual cycle.

Trained in paediatric osteopathy, she also sees newborns and children, as well as patients of all ages and athletes.
