Welcome to our practice, a space where health and creativity meet harmoniously. As well as providing quality care, we have chosen to create an environment that celebrates artistic expression and local talent.
Our commitment to health goes beyond treating physical ailments; we believe in the importance of holistic well-being, which also includes intellectual and emotional stimulation. That is why we have opened our doors to local artists, offering a unique space to exhibit their work within our practice.
We firmly believe that art has the power to soothe and to inspire. By offering this exhibition space, we not only support local artists but also help promote the mental and emotional well-being of our patients. After all, true health goes beyond the physical; it also embraces the soul and the mind.
We warmly invite our patients, and all art lovers, to come and discover the creative treasures that adorn our walls. As a multidisciplinary practice, we are proud to play an active role in promoting culture and well-being in our community.
“A work of art fulfils its ultimate purpose when it leads to new encounters”
Creating.
Consumed late in life by this passion, art allows me to capture in time the memory of an encounter, a thought, a story or an emotion.
From this capturing was born my love for rag paper, for those old writings that bear witness to the passing of time and carry many stories. But where others stop at the ink, I am fascinated by its texture, its veins, its appearance.
Beyond the words, I saw the material.
I saw wild flowers and weavers’ cloth, I saw cotton and linen dress the noble and the humble peasant alike, I saw boat ropes worn by wind, sun and storms, and finally I saw the mill’s pestle radically transform this material.
Yes, the page of a book has lived through all of this.
Hidden between two neighbours, it has been looked at for only a few minutes. It spends its life waiting patiently for the ravages of time, damp and vermin to make it sublime one last time.
Unless our paths cross…
