QUITTING SMOKING

Beyond the simple act of smoking, quitting reveals three insidious dependencies: physical, psychological and environmental. These complex links make stopping smoking difficult not only physically but also mentally and environmentally.

To overcome these dependencies, hypnosis is a powerful ally. By acting on the psychological and environmental aspects, it changes the imprint tobacco has left in the memory, strengthens the motivation to stop and creates new positive associations. Beyond motivation alone, hypnosis builds the determination needed to overcome tobacco dependence. Embracing this approach opens the way to more effective quitting, rooted in a deep transformation of mind and lifestyle.

SYMPTOMS

Persistent craving for nicotine: An intense and frequent desire to smoke, even when the situation does not allow it.

Increased tolerance to nicotine: Needing to smoke more to feel the same effects as before.

Withdrawal symptoms: Irritability, nervousness, insomnia or other unpleasant symptoms that appear when nicotine intake decreases.

Inability to stop despite the will to do so: Despite repeated attempts to stop or cut down, the person does not manage to do so lastingly.

Continued smoking despite health problems: Continuing to smoke even when aware of the health risks and medical problems linked to smoking.

THE THERAPY

Behind the product lie 3 dependencies: physical, psychological and environmental. Hypnosis acts on the last two by changing the imprint the product has left in your memory, strengthening your motivation or creating new associations. Beyond motivation, you need determination to overcome the dependence.

I offer a single procedure* as follows:

Session 1: meeting / medical history
Session 2: new associations
Session 3: stopping smoking in one go + olfactory anchoring
Session 4: reinforcement

*To counter withdrawal effects and for lasting results, I recommend follow-up of at least 6 to 8 months, with a personalised reinforcement session about every 2 months.

Tobacco in figures: https://www.stop-tabac.ch/

In Switzerland, smoking causes 9,500 deaths a year, which is 26 people a day and 14% of all deaths. Over the last 20 years, the percentage of smokers in Switzerland has hardly changed. It is around 27%, including 19% daily smokers.

Allow 6 to 12 months to free yourself from psychological dependence.
